"The Torch" - An editorial design work for Mathieu Lehanneur, Airbnb and Le Musée d’Orsay
The Torch magazine was created as part of the collaboration between Mathieu Lehanneur, Airbnb, and the Musée d'Orsay, for this event the iconic Salon de l'Horloge of the museum was transformed into a bedroom with some of Mathieu Lehanneur creations, the guests will assists at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. I was fortunate to be chosen to bring this project to life and having a complete creative freedom for this edition. I decided to stay true to the minimalism and elegance that characterize Mathieu Lehanneur's work. I chose to use a sans serif font (ABC Monument Grotesk) for the body text and a serif font (Agatho light) for the titles and full-page quotes. The quotes and texts align with the photographs, adding meaningful coherence to the whole. The iconography and texts were provided by Mathieu Lehanneur; however, the choice of titles for the cover and title page was left to me.
